How To: Treating Sunburn with Epsom Salt

Epsom salt’s anti-inflammatory properties make it a great tool for alleviating mild sunburn irritation. Here is a guide to help treat sunburn on your face and body from APC Pure.

Treating the Body

STEP 1

Mix the Epsom Salt (two tablespoons) with Water.

STEP 2

Put the Epsom Salt in a Bottle with a Trigger Spray and spray all over. This allows the Epsom Salt to gently sooth the skin rather than causing harm with a scrub.

STEP 3

Repeat until the affected area has cleared.

Treating the Face

Step 1

Mix a tablespoon of each: Epsom Salt, Honey and Olive Oil.

Step 2

Leave for 5 to 10 minutes.

Step 3

Rinse face with warm water to wash away any impurities.

Step 4
