You Will Need:

25 Jars (aim for different sized jars but with the same colour lids for example white lids or gold lids)

String

Card

Glitter pens or markers

Hole Puncher

Step 1

Start of by setting the jars out and deciding the contents of the jars. This is to ensure that the items will fit.

Step 2

Once you have decided what items are going where, begin to decorate the jars. For ideas to decorate the jarssee here.

Step 3

Every jar should be labelled clearly to make sure you know which jar to open on each day. Use some card to write the dates on with a glitter pen or marker (or even print this off onto card).

Step 4

Hole punch the card and tie string through and around the jar to ensure the number doesn’t fall of. Your advent calendar jars are now ready to use!
